Not sure about the Fusion but most new cars if you switch the defrost to on it will turn on AC because like the previous post said, it dries out the air faster therefore removing the frost. However, if that Evaporator Core is plugged that's probably the problem. Take it in to the dealer, they should fund the problem and fix it for free!

You don't want excess moisture in the car, you'll eventually have mold in there.

Don't forget to signup for a brochure on Ford.com, they'll put you in the system and send you a $750 private cash coupon. Once you're in the system your dealer can look it up and apply the coupon.

Talked with my dealer today, he said they're looking like they are still on track to start this week. Only time will tell for sure though, we'll know soon enough as people start receiving they're build dates.

Just ordered one last night with the X-Plan which isn't the best, but an easy way to save money and not have to go through the back and forth of haggling the price down. MSRP $37,945, my price $35,660. In my opinion, since this is a high demand car, dealers will be hesitant to give many deals, so I figure this was pretty good!
