  1. I just tried the Weathertech trunk mat from my 08 in the hybrid and it isn't even close to fitting because of the battery and the right side is different too.
  2. Funny you bring that up. It seems to me that the TPMS only knows the pressure it was programmed at and then goes off after "x" % of air is lost. I reprogrammed all mine after I pumped up the tires to max. I want it to go off when there is like 35psi in there and not 25 psi.
  3. Before I file this into my brain as the tire pressure/contact patch gospel, please tell me that you are in the tire industry and this is the absolute truth.
  4. Its my feeling that the pressure rating on the sidewall is the maximum inflation rating that achieves the manufacturers minimum requirement for contact patch with the average weight of the vehicle it is intended for. I'm guessing that the weights figured for the contact patch by the tire manufacturers are the average weights of the vehicles intended for the tires, but it sounds plausible. So oversize tires on your Wrangler were probably designed for a heavier vehicle and thats why your contact patch is crap at the near maximum inflation.
  5. Pump those puppies up to the max rating on the sidewall. Unless you are some kind of snob you won't notice the ride difference after a couple days. I'll give up a tiny bit of comfort for some gain on MPG's any day.

  7. I'd describe 5k as blazing OEM. But I gotta have the bling. The battery harness is unnecessary bullshit. The difference in visibility drastic. I think I have only heard of one person ever being disappointed.

  9. Just like you said it. Voice button twice "Play track Tom Sawyer" and away it goes. The USB command is only to get it to the disc drive the first time.
  10. Who did you get it from? I did an informal personal poll in February of dealers here from Duluth to Minneapolis and it was about 50/50 on who said they would sell at MSRP and who was going to sell above MSRP. I got mine from Elk River at MSRP. I did the visits before the allocation strategy went from dealer "lottery" to customer orders first. I think the lottery might of had something to do with the above MSRP crap, because some of the dealers thought they were so lucky to have gotten 2 of them and wanted to brag about it.
  11. Well I'm paying MSRP. All the dealers I visited are planning on marking the car up. The distribution up north here is pretty weak I believe, in comparison the West/East Coast, and probably has something to do with the lack of wheeling and dealing around here. When you have 1 of something that 10 people want why would you sell it for under MSRP?
  12. Pay to play. At this point in the life of the FFH, MSRP is as fair as it gets. This car is NOT for everyone. Big discounts and financing deals are for the run of the mill cars. $30k puts it out of reach for the masses and I applaud Ford for protecting the price point of their premium product. That is good business.
  13. I'm interested on the build date for this. The hype machine has been on level 11 for the past couple months. I'm thinking if there are any left they won't show until the fall.
  14. I was hoping no BOW eliminator. I have HID's on my wifes 08 with no eliminator and no messages, I want to know if its the same on the new ones.
  15. Did you go straight to the vehicle harness? Any warnings?
