stantaulbee
Picked up mine last Wednesday. SE 6 cylinder model. First Ford I have ever owned. I have got to say that so far I am impressed with the fit and finish of the vehicle. The V6 has a lot of punch, too. Wife chose the car. We used to drive a 2004 Pontiac, which we loved, but our situation demanded a new car and I'm glad she opted for the Fusion. I like mine more every time I drive it. My neighbor took a ride in mine and bought one too! Good luck and many miles.

Blue Oval
I know what you guys mean, too. Each time I drive mine I can't get over the smooth, quiet ride. Ford really did its homework on this one. I've driven my boss's $90,000 BMW 750 and I swear my Fusion rides as nice, if not better, than his car does! Good Luck with your new car, Stantaulbee.

LOL, my father in law has a 2001 Mercedes S600, you know, the one with the high output V12, and I got to drive it, needless to say I wasn't that impressed with it other than it can settle down for better handling, but moving forward, I get more sensation of speed in the Sport than I did in the S600. Heck, now that I have the Flex Ecoboost, That has more G force than the Mercedes did.

Heck, now that I have the Flex Ecoboost, That has more G force than the Mercedes did. I didn't realize the Ecoboost was an option on the Flex. Crapsters! I'd have gotten one of those. I love that retro '57 Ford station wagon look. I will say though, my Fusion with the 6 speed manual is a blast to drive. I drove my cousin's company car, a BMW 535 with the turbos. It was quick, but the turbo lag and transmission shift coincided and made driving a jerky experience when you matted it. My Fusion rides and handles just as good, if not better as it's lighter than the BMW. Yeah...I'll keep what I have....until I can get one with a 6 speed ecoboost engine.
