sullied
So, after searching for months for a way to get a hold of an X-plan pin to buy my new FFH, I've discovered a way. My wife's sister works for a partner company and we luckily have the same legal residence as her. So, we technically reside in the same household. We currently live across the company, but my being in the military allows me to have a different legal residence. I just hope that the NY dealer doesn't give us too much trouble since we're buying the car with a residence in WA state. I think it helps that we'll be registering it at the same address is WA, though. Just had to share this with someone...we're really excited to save some money without negotiating a price. Now, the question, where the hell are the 2011 Fusion order guides?? I got an e-mail telling me that the 2011 order banks opened 3/22, but the order guides are nowhere to be found. My dealer wasn't even certain and said he had to talk to his new car manager (no word back from him yet).

akirby
The rules require a driver's license showing proof of address according to fordpartner.com. If you don't have that you should call the fordpartner office and check with them.

The military displaced us, so we can legally keep our residence in a completely different place.

Are you stationed at the Navy Nuclear Training Facility? I will be visiting friends in Ballston and in Corinth in June. May even hit Americade in Lake George in July.

Fuze-ion
Congratulations! So, how much do you think the "Partner Plan" is saving you? I was able to negotiate, $750 off the sticker price ($29,200) in January. I could have gotten $3,200 off sticker, on a SEL model. I don't think, that I will ever realize any savings in gas, from the Hybrid cost over the SEL model, the cost difference was a little over $7,000. My wife wanted the Hybrid, so that's what we got.

The X-plan price is calculated with this equation: Invoice Price - (Invoice Price * 0.4%) + $275 In the end, the particular one I want to order will be about $150 over invoice price. Just gotta deal with 8.3% tax

Just gotta deal with 8.3% tax It should be pointed out that Invoice Price is the true dealer invoice, not the invoice price you get from edmunds or kbb. True dealer invoice includes the FDAF (advertising) fees that are not included on edmunds, kbb or any other internet sites. These are typically $300-$600 per vehicle. Take that into account if you're estimating your own pricing.

My son went through that prototype back around 1981 or 82. Was then assigned to the Andrew Jackson SSBN 619. (I'd still rather be a CT ) Small World indeed.
