GPS mount

Hi guys, new to the forums and this is my first post.

I just recently got a brand new 2010 fusion sport with a red candy exterior and black leather interior :)

The thing is I'm not quite sure where to put my Garmin Nuvi. I was looking at getting this: http://www.proclipusa.com/?sectionpath=383&pageid=14755&processor=content&pcategoryid=12945&categoryid=14520&year=2010&lightwindow=true&usermode=_dualselect&v_pcat=12945&v_cat=14520&year=2010&d_pcat=13827&d_cat=15191&have_holder=false&have_mount=false&p_pageid=1&dtype=

Does anybody have any experience with these mounts? I am concerned that the GPS will cover up some of the radio display.

If you have other suggestions I am open to them. Thanks!

I'm looking for a good spot to mount my Nuvi too. The windshield will have to work for now, as I do not like the mounts that cover up the vents...especially when it's 110 here in Vegas!

Good luck, I'd personally look for a different solution.

I got one of these for my Nuvi 260:

Garmin portable friction mount

Like it as it folds down (minus the gps, of course) and fits into the dash-top compartment. Also like the fact that it doesn't look like a beanbag. Don't like the stain it leaves on top of the dash. Looks like a bit of an oily spot or something. Maybe it could come clean, but I only go at it with those automotive interior wipes.

Try mountguys.com. They have a trememdous assortment of mounts (many of them brand-specific), not just for GPS.
