hondaconvert
I recently parked relatively close to another SEL, and since my SEL was quite different from it, I wondered, "What does the SEL stand for? And what about S and SE?" Does anyone really know?
Grey
SE = Supreme Edtion SEL= Supreme Edition Luxury SES= Supreme Edtion Sport Or maybe nothing????
shawn_carter69
The letters for pretty much every manufacturer mean nothing. It's just a way to differentiate the differnet trim levels and options that come in each trim. There truly is no "meaning" to each one. It just works better to say S, SE, SEL than to say Fusion 1, 2 , 3 etc.
roblax13
I always thought: S = Standard trim SE = Standard Expanded trim SEL = Standard Expanded Leather trim SES = Standard Expanded Sport trim Could be wrong though.
Fuze-ion
Saturn ION came as level 1, level 2, or level 3. I own a 2006 ION level 2. I just recently purchased, as a used car, as a first car for daughter. I didn't want her driving the Fusion or Expedition.

Absolutely, it is done with the Level 1, Level 2 etc. Toyota even has the FJ Cruiser as a, b, c I believe. It's all just marketing when it comes down to it.
