Grille Change on the Sport

I love that grille!

Overall I despise the tri-bar grille (even the ones on the '13 Fusions) and wish Ford offered a honeycomb version. However, I like that combo! You chromed the center right? or was it chrome and you painted the other parts red?

Originally had the 3 bar chrome.

Found a 3 bar painted grille.

Kept the chrome in the middle and added the painted outer bars.

I still have the center painted bar if I ever want a change.

I got rid of the lock washers on the bars and used wing nuts for easier removal if I choose to do so at a later time.

If you take off the bars (which you can do without removing the front end), be extremely careful with the areas that have the lock washers on them. Those areas break off fairly easily.
