Just to keep thread updated. I recieved the new ignition bypass and installed. As soon as I turned the key, the new ignition ring began to smoke. I quickly turned off and removed. With the car starter being so old, parts discontinued, and its capability/distance lacking, I made an appt with a local car audio place and they are removing old system and installing new system that is capable of being started from my phone. It's a little pricey but with the car only have 26k miles on it, it has lots of years/winters left... will definitely come in handy.

I have a 2018 Ford Fusion that has approximately 99k miles on it and the past 20K have had a random shudder in the transmission which my scan tool data showed drops in the torque converter pressure. When I took it to the local transmission shop, they pointed out it had several codes that said "Lost communication with tcm", "Lost communication with the HVAC control module", "Lost communication with the steering control module", etc. Upon clearing the codes and restarting the car, it will randomly come up with all the same codes or just one or two. The one that always comes on is the TCM code. Part of me feels it's a ground issue, but I'm not a master tech lol. I don't know where to start with this. I can't find anything on google about ground locations to check them. Google has not helped out at all, so I'm here hoping for recommendations on self repair as I have no extra budget for repairs like this. Help!

The sensor is simple resistance, you can read it with a meter.
It takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes of driving for the sensor to update the PCM, the sensor uses last data when the engine first starts.

Programming the DNA-9 NOTE: Two PATS keys are required to program the DNA-9. NOTE: IMPORTANT: Each of the following steps should be completed with no more than a 5 second delay between steps. 70. Insert the first ignition key and turn to the RUN position. • Watch for the PATS light to turn off. Remove the first key. 71. Insert the second ignition key and turn to the RUN position. • Watch for the PATS light to turn off. Remove the second key. 72. Press and hold the remote start button for 3 seconds. • The PATS light should stay on for 3-5 seconds before turning off, which means that the DNA-9 was successfully programmed.
I ordered a new securelock...The ignition bypass so I do not have to hold a key up to the ignition to get the remote start to activate. Anyone know how to program the new securelock? Guessing it will be something to do with the factory keys?
I have a 2019 Fusion SEL with over 130K on it. It just started to make a whining noise like it’s winding down. First I looked it up and it was written that it’s the fuel
pump starting to go and it’s common with ford cars over 100K miles. I brought it to my mechanic, nope fuel pump is perfect, there was pockets of air in the line, he took care of that. Noise still there, found a pinhole in my tailpipe, patched it up. Noise still there! Has anyone else notice this?
2012 Fusion
All my lights went on but the steering angle sensor. My rack & pinion, upper control arms lr rf, and steering angle sensor have to be replaced according to the mechanic. Some other lights came on, seemed like the car was demanding
I also have station like that near me. Or people know that it's watered down. None of my cars have seen those stations just giving my experience. That e87 has given the best experience fuel economy wise. 91 to 93 even without ethanol. Have tanked mpg I've been doing mostly highway.
